Partnership

Partners are individuals and organizations with whom KBtL has a reciprocal advertising arrangement. Partners do not have to financially support KBtL, but support us by advertising our event or significant milestones in the event planning process (such as our call for proposals or volunteers). In return, we also support our partners by advertising their event(s) and their significant milestones (calls for submission, proposals, volunteers, fundraisers, etc). Partnership is limited to organizations who KBtL feels share our mission and organizational values. Since we are endorsing and advertising on behalf of our Partners (and vice versa), we only accept partners who are doing work to further diversity within a kink or sexuality context and whose values and modes of operating align with ours.

Our Partners Receive from KBtL

Mentions:

• A mention homepage of our website: name, logo, and one link
• A mention on a pinned story on our Instagram: name, logo/image, and a tag of their Instagram account.
• A mention on our FetLife profile page: name, one link AND a listing as our “Partner” (relationship status) if they have a FetLife profile.
• A mention on our Discord server in a dedicated channel: name, logo, and one link.
• A mention in our Gather in our Sponsorship/Partnership room: name, logo, one link.

Introductory Posts:

• Intro post in a newsletter: name, logo, one link, and a 200-character about text
• Intro post on Instagram: name, logo/image, a tag of their Instagram account, and a 200-character about text.
• Intro post on FetLife as a status update: name, a mention of their FetLife profile, and a 200-character about text.

Advertising:

• Ability to submit 6 posts per calendar year (but no more than one per month) for publication to our networks.
• Posts can contain content for FetLife (status update text, mentions), our newsletter (images, text, links), Discord (images, text, links), and/or Instagram (images, text, tags, hashtags, videos) and should be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance.
• Posts must be fully formatted/created and will be submitted through a form. We are not responsible for creating content (writing text, creating images) for you!

We Expect From our Partners:

Mentions:

• At least one (more is great!) dedicated, static mention or listing of KBtL with our name, logo, and one link. This can be on place you would like (Instagram, FetLife, website, Discord, Linktree/Linkinbio, etc) but it should be somewhere where your followers can continuously access the link. For example, a post on Facebook that quickly disappears down the feed does not count, but a pinned post on Facebook would be fine.
• At least one (more is great!) introductory post with our name and a 200-character about text. If the platform allows links and/or images, we expect to be able to include one link and one image. This can be on any social media (Instagram, FetLife, Facebook, X, Threads, Discord, newsletter, etc)
• The ability to submit 6 posts per calendar year (no more than one per month) for publication to your networks. These posts will contain advertising for our event and significant milestones in the event planning process such as calls for proposals/submissions, calls for volunteers, opening of registration, etc. These posts must be posted in at least one channel of yours, but more is great.
• We will give you these posts fully formatted and created, so you don’t need to do anything but post them!
