KbtL Staff is made up of community members who increasingly come from all across the globe. We come from various backgrounds and are ourselves marginalized in various ways, which are shared below. We are united by our passion for centering marginalized perspectives in the kink community and work year round to make the next event even better than the last.

  • Echolynx (they/them/theirs, hen/hen/hun) - Producer

    Echolynx, or just Echo is a longtime kinkster with a passion for the abolishment of injustices faced by marginalised kinksters in overlapping communities. They are an organizer and an educator by nature and a lynx in practice; small, curious, and independent. Echo identifies as agender, queer, an immigrant, disabled, and submissive. A rigger for more than a decade, Echo is most passionate about connection, sadism, and disability inclusion in rope. Echo is the founder and Producer of the Kink Between the Lines Conference; using their passion for social equity, racial and disability justice, and intentional intersectionality to help lift up and prioritise minority and marginalised voices in kink. In their free time, they enjoy leather care, playing solo, crafting, and language learning. Fluent or close to, in English and Dutch; they also understand Hebrew and ASL, and are actively learning Arabic and NGT.

    Di4bL0, Papi if Y/you bout that life, is a multimedia artist/poet/author/Music Producer from Atlantic City, NJ, with roots in Sacramento, CA and Hampton Roads, VA. Formerly known by many as WitchDoktor CC, They had been known around the globe as an Indigenous healer, Divination Nerd, Complimentary and Alternative/Plant Medicine advocate, Tribal Fusion/Gothic bellydancer, UU ordained Metaphysician, Social and environmental justice activist (with focus on Intersexuality/Transness, Cannabis, Medical Discrimination, and Food), a Pleasure-Positive/Kink-involved educator, and conscious parenting enthusiast. With professional experience spanning over three decades They have mentored, advised, counseled hundreds of people on their journey. It is most important to Cim to welcome you into Their wealth of knowledge and insperience coupled with the practicality of experience. Above all, They InJoy sharing their craft with all respectFull seekers.

  • Connor Synuates (he/him/his, hij/hem/zijn) - Director of Operations

    Connor is a white, queer, transmasculine, and polyamorous masochist. Originally from Boston (Massachusetts, United States of America) he now lives in Haarlem (Nederland). He has earned a Masters in Social Work with a focus on macro social work, trauma, and transgender health equity. Connor as been in the kink scene for over 10 years. Mutual aid, healing, marginalization and oppression dynamics, and creating strong communities are all deep interests of Connor’s. Similar deep interests include hiking, geocaching, dragons, and cinnamon buns. Connor speaks English fluently, Dutch and Spanish at a moderate level, and American Sign Language at a beginner level.

  • Creature (they/them/theirs, fae/faer/faers) - Director of Communications

    Creature is a neurodivergent, chronically ill & disabled, genderqueer Leather Dyke whose main love in the kink world is everything to do with boots and leather! They currently reside in Treaty 7 territory which is also known as Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They are the Western Canadian Bootblack 2023 and Northwest Bootblack 2024. Creature has been involved in the kink community for 10 years and they currently dedicate a lot of their time to helping out with various local and non-local events and teaching when they can. Fae is incredibly passionate about mental health, harm reduction, and mutual aid. Outside of kink, they volunteer with various local orgs and their hobbies include sewing, hand embroidery, and many other random hobbies they pick up along the way. They spend their downtime loving on their partner and 3 dogs and being an absolute menace to their loved ones!

  • Dragon (he/him/his, they/them/theirs) - Director of Volunteers

    Dragon is a dominant fat, black, non-binary trans man. Originally from Louisville, KY (USA) he now lives in Brooklyn, NY (USA). They have been in the kink scene for about 6 years and are constantly trying to expand their knowledge of the life. Dragon’s passions include dancing, baking, making art and creating safe spaces for carefree joy amongst the black, queer, and fat communities.

  • Panda (it/its/its) - Director of Attendees & Engagement

    Panda is queer, pansexual, and polyamorous. It identifies as a submissive, owned property, pet, toy, dark ageplayer, edge player, and hypno fetishist. Panda has served as staff or volunteer for four (4) different kink organizations, has taught over a hundred classes, and runs a kink education server and business with their Master HypnoStory. Panda has been with KBTL since its conception, and it’s pretty sure Echo will never let it leave.

  • Robin (she/her/hers) - Director of Technology and Website Management

    Robin is a ADHD, autistic, pansexual, poly, trans woman and part of the Akari system. She has previously taught at KBtL, and is now the Director of Technology (or Tech Gal) for the conference. She has more hobbies than she can count and enjoys tying people up when she gets the chance.

  • Sarah Sloane (they/them/theirs) - Director of Registration

    Sarah Sloane is a Chicago based kink and sexuality educator. With 25+ years active in the leather and kink communities, they have gotten to learn and experience amazing things, and have been honored to create learning spaces for people of all ages around the US and online. While not as active over the past five years, Sarah has continued to teach at occasional events, as well as at university classes and as the in house educator at Chicago Dungeon Rentals. Sarah is a white non-binary older person who lives with both physical limitations and mental health quirks, and approaches education from an “always learning” mindset. They flag black, red, hunter green, and purple left, and navy right. They are also engaged in a long term power relationship with their purebred Siberian cat, Mishka Dubh, as his servant and can opener.

    professor kitty, also known as kitty or PK for short, is a member of the Operations Team for KBtL VI. She has been a presenter, a consent & emotional care team member, a class assistant, and a zoom moderator at previous KBtLs and is excited to be continuing for the second year in her role on the Operations Team for KBtL.

    PK is super passionate about accessibility - in both Lifestyle settings and Vanilla settings; and brings that passion to her work with KBtL and elsewhere. Besides KBtL, she serves many local, regional, and virtual Lifestyle events as a volunteer, staff-person, and/or presenter. She co-founded Kinky Jews of Philadelphia and is passionate about spirituality and her faith.

    PK is Owned by her Sir, TechDarko, and proudly wears His collar.

    Personally, professor kitty identifies as a kitty, a Leathergirl, a girly-girl, an intellectual educator, a zebra, and a service-oriented and obedience-driven slave. Outside of the Lifestyle, she is an advocate in the chronic illness community, a professional educator, and a self-proclaimed science nerd. PK experiences marginalization as a Jew, a woman in a male dominated field, a disabled person, a chronic illness warrior, and a child of a single mother.
