KbtL Staff is made up of community members who increasingly come from all across the globe. We come from various backgrounds and are ourselves marginalized in various ways, which are shared below. We are united by our passion for centering marginalized perspectives in the kink community and work year round to make the next event even better than the last.

Echolynx (they/them/theirs, hen/hen/hun) - Producer
Echolynx self-identifies as...
I am White, of Middle Eastern descent and Jewish by blood. I live in The Netherlands (BeNeLux), and hold the nationality of the United States of America, but don't identify with it. I am a/gender, genderqueer, transmasculine/FtM/trans male/another term for transgender binary along the masculine spectrum, intersex, gay, queer, and asexual/aromantic. I am physically, intellectually, and socially disabled, I have a mental health condition/disability and am both neurodiverse and chronically ill. I have had children but do not anymore (for any reason), I am between 25 and 35 years old. I am currently or previously have been a sex-worker, I hold non-mainstream spiritual beliefs. I did not go to or did not complete college, I am currently or previously have been homeless, I am polyamorous/non-monogamous, My safety and/or the safety of my family is at risk due to the political situation in my country, I am an immigrant.
Echolynx, or just Echo is a longtime kinkster with a passion for the abolishment of injustices faced by marginalized kinksters in overlapping communities. They are an organizer and an educator by nature and a lynx in practice; small, curious, and independent. Echo identifies as agender, queer, an immigrant, and a disabled slave. Echo enjoys leather care, service and primarily engages in solo-play. The proud founder and Producer of the KBtL, Echo uses their passion for social equity, racial and disability justice, and intentional intersectionality to help lift up and prioritize minority and marginalized voices in kink. Hun spreekt Nederlands & understands both Hebrew and ASL; in their free time, they are also learning Nederlands Gebarentaal.
Panda (it/its/its, they/them/theirs) - Chief of Staff

I am White, of Polish, German, and Irish Descent. I both live in and am of the nationality of the United States of America. I am non-binary, genderfluid, pan/poly sexual/romantic, and queer. I have a social disability, a mental health condition/disability, and am both neurodiverse and chronically ill. I do not have children and am between 25 and 35 years old. I am a person of size/fat/BBW/etc., and currently am or previously have been a sex worker. I have first generation experience. I am on public/state assistance due to financial hardship, my income is at or below the minimum wage in my location and doesn't consistently meet my needs. I am polyamorous/non-monogamous. My safety and/or the safety of my family is at risk due to the political situation in my country.
Panda is queer, pansexual, and polyamorous. It identifies as a submissive, owned property, pet, toy, dark ageplayer, edge player, and hypno fetishist. Panda has served as staff or volunteer for four (4) different kink organizations, has taught over a hundred classes, and runs a kink education server and business with their Master HypnoStory. Panda has been with KBTL since its conception, and it’s pretty sure Echo will never let it leave.

Wy is a queer ace lady-ish person with ADHD who has been part of KBtL since its inception. She has been doing mostly behind the scenes kink con volunteering for five (5) years so far. Her favorite hobby is collecting hobbies, with the current highlights being bookbinding and pottery.

Connor is a queer, transmasculine. and polyamorous masochist. Originally from Boston, USA he now lives in Amsterdam, NL. He has earned a Masters in Social Work with a focus on macro social work, trauma, and gender diversity and has been in the scene for over 10 years. I do not have children, I was a foster kid, and am currently an elder in my family/community, I am between 46 and 55 years old. I am a person of size/fat/BBW, I hold non-mainstream spiritual beliefs. I have a GED/did not finish high school. I am polyamorous/non-monogamous. My safety and/or the safety of my family is at risk due to the political situation in my country.
Sarah is a genderqueer queer butch dominant leather dyke based in Chicago IL. Sarah’s been involved for 25+ years in the BDSM, Leather, and ENM communities as a group member, speaker, educator, volunteer, writer, and general fill-in-the-blank. When not being kinky (in theory or practice), Sarah is a big fan of knitting, traveling, tasting Scotch, being a part of a wide community of family-of-choice and friends, and being owned by their Russian-born Siberian cat, Mishka Dubh.

Robin is a ADHD, autistic, pansexual, poly, trans woman and part of the Akari system. She has previously taught at KBtL, and is now the Director of Technology (or Tech Gal) for the conference. She has more hobbies than she can count and enjoys tying people up when she gets the chance.
