The Cycle of Experience is a model of sexuality created by Echo and puck. One of the goals of a new model of sexuality was to be more inclusive of asexuality and how kink and BDSM are related to desires of sexual experience. Our base assumptions are that 1) not everyone experiences life as a sexual being; and 2) the experience of sexuality and relationships is a dynamic, complex feedback loop. In a special event for KBtL, Echo and puck will be conducting qualitative interviews to understand the “why” and “how” of kinksters engage in their sexuality, and then a focus group for participants to provide thoughts and feedback on the Sexuality Cycle model. Interviews will take place on Friday and Saturday, and those who participate in the interviews will be invited to a focus group discussion on Sunday.
