Kink Between the Lines believes in financial accessibility. Financial Aid is available for this event. We have low-income/pay-what-you-can tickets and full scholarships available. The application will be available on the 1st of September. We recommend you apply early, as financial aid is first-come, first-served and fills up fast.

KBtL operates on a sliding scale pricing model to make our conference financially accessible to the most people. In principle, all three tickets (Supporter, General, and Solidarity) have roughly the same level of access. You will get access to the event and the Discord as well as 4 days of Extended Access. Supporter ticket holders do get a few extra perks, though. But these are offered at different price points to reflect that members of our community come from different levels of financial privilege. We ask attendees to reflect on their financial privilege when choosing a pricing tier to help keep our conference accessible for everyone. If you are a financially vulnerable individual and/or you use a devalued currency whose purchasing power is far below the US Dollar, British Pound, Japanese Yen, or Euro, then a Solidarity Ticket is probably right for you. If you do not fall into these categories, please select a Supporter or General Ticket.

Funds raised by our tickets go directly into running the conference; Kink Between the Lines does not profit from these funds. For each ticket sold, here is a breakdown of where the money goes. For more information, please see our annual report.

• 38% to Direct costs (Software fees & Operational costs)
• 10% to Other costs (Financial Aid, attendance fees for Staff & Volunteers, etc)

Finally, we'd like to remind you that even our most expensive ticket ($115 for a Late Registration Supporter Ticket) still amounts to less than $20 per day or about $5 per class. When was the last time you went to a workshop for only $5? 1983? At KBtL, you can go to 23 of them and watch even more on Extended Access!

Supporting KBtL is more than just attending. Every donation made helps the conference continue and thereby continue to support marginalized kinksters worldwide. Furthermore, it has a direct impact on our ability to offer Financial Aid to attendees. We always have more requests for aid than we have available funds, so by donating, you can make someone's (kinky) dream come true!

• A donation of $15 - $40 gives Extended Access to someone unable to afford the extra time.
• A donation of $50 makes a solidarity ticket available to a financially vulnerable kinkster.
• A donation of $70 gives a full scholarship ticket to the live event to someone unable to afford it.

Refunds are available on a case-by-case basis. KBtL offers both Voucher Refunds (like a KBtL-only gift card) and Cash Refunds (your payment returned minus processing fees) where applicable. Please email registration@kinkbetweenthelines.com for more information or to request a refund.

Please note: Donations, including donating low-income, EA, and/or scholarship tickets, are non-refundable. Except in extraordinary circumstances, people with refunded tickets will generally not be allowed to attend the event. Their registrations will be cancelled. Refunds are only available up to 1 week before the convention, which is October 30^th, 2026.
