Impact Play 101: A Blind Top’s Perspective (Extended Access)
Zoom
Duration: 90 minutes
Educators:
Topic: Accessibility/Disability, General BDSM, Physical Skills
Type: Lecture/Presentation

Impact play is a consensual BDSM activity that involves hitting/striking another human being. Many people use this form of play for sexual gratification or in power exchange, but others use it for different reasons, including connection and catharsis. Examples of this include slapping, punching, kicking, spanking, caning, and flogging. This is a beginners guide to impact play, and a core pillar of BDSM is safety. Topics will include but are not limited to: the definition of impact play, anatomy of the human body and safety/first aid, impact play techniques, and how to create an impact play scene. I will also share my experiences as a blind player and dominant. My hope is that students will learn valuable skills, gain knowledge, and have fun—I mean, what is life without laughter and smiles?

Wet and Messy Play Demo
Gather
Duration: 75 minutes
Educators:
Topic: General BDSM, Physical Skills
Type: Demo

Wet and Messy play typically consists of engaging in substances that are “wet and messy,” also sometimes called sploshing. Frequently, though not always, this play involves food, mud, and chemicals (like slime). This type of play can involve having a particular substance dumped on you, or inside your clothing. Wet and Messy play almost never involves intentional play with bodily fluids. Join the Demo Dungeon in a display of Wet and Messy play. In order to respect this space as a dungeon, please keep all questions until the end. This demonstration of wet and messy play should be treated as a scene, regardless of the number of people watching and any engagement from the Demo-Host and Demo-Assistant.

Interrogation Play 101: Reclaiming the Scene, Rewriting the Script (Extended Access)
Zoom
Duration: 90 minutes
Educators:
Topic: Physical Skills, Power Exchange, Privilege at the Margins (theme)
Type: Workshop

Interrogation play can be intense, cathartic, erotic—and historically fraught. Rooted in militarized and carceral systems, it’s often portrayed in ways that glorify domination without consent, glorify state violence, or erase the trauma realities of marginalized people. So how do we engage with this psychological style of play in a way that feels aligned with our values, healing for our bodies, and empowering for our identities? This class is a trauma-informed, queer- and BIPOC-centered introduction to Interrogation Play that invites participants to approach reclaiming this kink with care, intention, and joy. We’ll explore its problematic history and unpack how factors like power, race, gender, disability, and class affect the ways we experience “questioning” in real life—and how to reimagine it in scene space.Rather than replicate harm, we’ll learn how to negotiate and redefine the edges of interrogation scenes so they can become tools of release, resistance or even reparation.

What I Hold, I Offer (privilege work ceremony)
Zoom
Duration: 90 minutes
Educators:
Topic: Privilege at the Margins (theme), Spirituality
Type: Event

You are invited in our shared sacred space to explore, feel and transform together. We dive deep into the parts of yourself that hold access to comfort or systemic ease. This session focuses on exploring our privileges and marginalization without guilt, shame or apology. It is about meeting these parts with honesty, curiosity and care. We will explore what you carry that others may not and what you can offer yourself, others and the community.Through guided reflection, symbolic offerings and optional sharing you are invited to discover what you have to give. Not perse in terms of material or social privilege but also presence, space holding, insight or resilience. You may be surprised by what becomes visible when you turn toward yourself with compassion. As part of this ritual you are invited (but never required) to join in a short guided shamanic journey based on European practice. This meditative inner exploration offers a way to listen more deeply to what wants to be seen released or shared. You can choose to join, witness or temporarily step away during this part. This ceremony invites awareness without shame, and responsibility without heaviness. What you hold can become a gift. What you discover can become a choice. No (ritual) experience is needed. Come as you are. All identities, bodies, hearts and and emotional landscapes are welcome.

The Neuroscience of Pain and Pleasure: An Exploration into BDSM (Extended Access)
Zoom
Duration: 90 minutes
Topic: General BDSM
Type: Lecture/Presentation

BDSM offers a unique lens through which to examine the neuroscience of pain and pleasure. While pain is traditionally seen as a negative stimulus and pleasure as a positive one, BDSM disrupts this binary, showing how pain can be pleasurable and how power dynamics influence neurochemical responses. This class will explore the neurobiological, psychological, and evolutionary underpinnings of BDSM experiences, examining how pain interacts with the brain’s reward, pleasure, and stress systems. The lecture will cover the following:

  1. role of the spinothalamic tract and periaqueductal gray (PAG) in nociception (pain perception)
  2. different types of pain and pain sensitivities
  3. in-built pain modulating systems (ex: endogenous opioids)
  4. dopamine system in reward pathways
  5. endocannabinoids during orgasm
  6. adrenaline and its role in arousal
  7. oxytocin and vasopressin during recovery
  8. dissociation, pain fog and reduced pre-frontal cortex activity and its role in subspace

High intellectual potential people and kink (Extended Access)

High giftedness in adults refers to an above-average IQ and EQ. Approximately 2-3% of the population falls into this category. HIP's often excel in their fields but may struggle with perfectionism, overthinking, and feeling misunderstood. Their intense emotions and deep thinking can lead to anxiety or impostor syndrome. As a HIP myself I have noticed I have found that HIp's feel at home in the kink communities. This class will cover the following topics:- how do you know if you are HIP?- What are the HIP talents that are beneficial for kinksters- what are the pitfalls and how to manage them.

Power Dynamic As Exoskeleton: Coping With Disability in A M/s Relationship (Extended Access)
Zoom
Duration: 90 minutes
Topic: Accessibility/Disability, Power Exchange, Relationships
Type: Class

It’s not easy to cope with disability under any circumstances, but when you have to deal with physical limitations, it may seem like there’s no energy to spare for “traditional” M/s. After all, isn’t the erotica full of masters who are always tall, strong, healthy, and able to wrestle their slaves to the ground – not to mention beautiful, physically perfect slaves? How can it work with a slave who can’t kneel or a master who can’t do basic things for themselves? This class will discuss how to make it work in the face of all the obstacles. Not only can M/s work in the face of physical problems, it can become a kind of “exoskeleton” for the disabled partner, keeping them going in the face of all odds.

Beyond Accessibility to Real Inclusion (Extended Access)
Zoom
Duration: 90 minutes
Educators:
Topic: Accessibility/Disability
Type: Community Discussion

Often events and spaces focus on Accessibility: can we get in the door and attend the classes. That is not enough to include us as full members of the community: respected leaders, presenters, and those others turn to. That may not be enough for us to build connections and network. I will use my experience as a blind educator as a jumping off point to explore what real inclusion looks like, focused on being part of community not just access to events and spaces. My focus is from a disability lens but I welcome other lenses to community inclusion.

Topic: General BDSM, Kink Identities
Type: Lecture/Presentation

Pathological demand avoidance is an extreme avoidance of every day demands. As a service submissive, it's expected of me to follow protocols and requests. So how do I manage both? Bratting, and you can too! Let's talk through how consensual bratting can create a safe dynamic for submissives or bottoms to say no or act out our PDA while also having a safe space to give into orders. I will walk you through what my PDA looks like, how I use bratting to unmask in a world where I am expected to follow through with orders all day. And how having the space to say no gives room for letting go and having the autonomy to do what is requested of you by your top.

I am Daddy: An Exploration of Self-Collaring (Extended Access)
Zoom
Duration: 90 minutes
Educators:
Topic: Kink Identities
Type: Lecture/Presentation

Collaring has long held deep meaning in kink and BDSM communities — often symbolizing ownership, devotion, and connection between Dominants and submissives. But what about when the collar is placed by one’s own hand? Self-collaring has emerged as a personal and often radical ritual of reclaiming power, setting boundaries, and defining self-worth. This session explores self-collaring not just as an alternative to partnered dynamics, but as a meaningful practice in its own right — one that can coexist with relationships of all kinds. Whether single, solo, partnered, or somewhere in between, individuals are using self-collaring to affirm their autonomy, embody personal power, and honor their commitments to self. Especially relevant for those navigating healing from codependency, complex relationship histories, or identity formation, self-collaring offers a way to say “I am Daddy” — not as a role given, but one claimed.

AD(H)D is one of the most well known forms of neurospiciness. Yet there are still a lot of misconceptions, (false) expectations, doubts and fears surrounding this topic. Not in the last place from those who experience it daily. As a top or D-type, this difference in wiring can cause all kinds of situations and reactions. Some of these are very much embraced and considered positive, some might be (felt as) less favourable. The same goes for the special traits people with AD(H)D might have. This session covers topics like planning, communication, emotional ups and downsand how to work with both the strengths and the struggles. While we’ll focus on the positive, we won’t ignore the harder stuff like (mental) health issues and trauma either. This class is created by and for D-types with AD(H)D and their partners but everyone’s welcome. You can join in and share, or just hang back and observe. There’ll be quite some (optional) interactive bits and a handout is included in the session.

Creating a counter culture that prioritizing productive resolution over personal comfort, standing in our boots is being present and accountable when situations get uncomfortable.
