The Keynote Event is separated into two parts. The first is a community space; wherein we will host an open mic for folks to share a little about their kinky desires. Whether through author readings, poetry slams, sharing of physical artwork, music, or dance; participants will have time to engage with the community with 1-5 minutes of mic time. After, we will come together for a wrap up, a connecting thought, an address. This year’s Keynote Address will be given by Meredith, in a way that looks at the parts of our kink world that conform and divide us, but more about the ways we can come together and look at our future. In Meredith’s own words: in a world that demands conformity, kink provides a foundational architecture for radical acceptance. Explicit consent, a commitment to transparency, and vulnerable self-expression draw us into a sacred space for dismantling and rewriting the scripts society imposes on us. Using queer identity and relationship development as frameworks, revolutionary kinksters create our own models of community, family, and joy.
