How do you organise in a city with no gay bars? This class will talk through the practicalities of setting up an event when your town doesn't make it easy for you, or where there's no shared understanding of the kinds of kink/leather culture you're invested in.

We'll discuss logistical issues and some challenges we've faced in developing a trans-inclusive leatherdyke community in a city without any links to recent or historic leatherdyke culture and without financial/housing security or healthcare.
