Identity is a core issue at KBtL; we cannot center and hold space for marginalized perspectives without ensuring that the people who work with us are also diverse. KBtL strives to balance transparency and privacy as much as possible by asking staff and presenters to identify their marginalized identities right in their profile whenever possible. You can find identities listed in both educator profiles and staff profiles. But for many reasons, some people may have concerns around sharing some of their identities publicly and we support their right to privacy and safety too! In addition, our amazing volunteers are not listed by name on our website, which means we can't list their identities publicly with their profile.
